Congratulations,
you completed the hardest part. You had your portraits
taken and I'm sure
you
were surprised that it was a lot easier than you expected.
You were handled professionally,
safely,
courteously and, wow, you had a lot of fun, too. Good
job!
Q.
What happens now? When do I see my images?
A.
If you allow another thirty minutes, you may see your images immediately
after the session.
Otherwise,
you will receive instructions on how and where to access your images on an
online viewing service. Each thumbnail image will be individually numbered for easy ordering.
Remember to CLICK ON THE IMAGE TO ENLARGE EACH PICTURE and note the number of each.
Q.
There are too many good images. How do I decide?
A.
While we would love you to order every image, practically speaking,
that's not likely.
What
we do suggest is to make a list of the image numbers (numbers are visible when the picture is
enlarged). Take a pen and put a light "X" through
the image numbers you know right away
do
not work for your purposes. Circle the number of each respective
image that does work for you.
It's often helpful to make a list of where they're going; e.g. (a)
brochure, (b) website, (c) framed business portrait ,
(d) gift to parents, (e) gift to spouse/mate
etc. You'll quickly
see how your varied looks are
appropriate to
one or more categories.
Q. Why are these images so sharp?
In the world of photography, we need and want the original digital images to be "sharp,"
i.e. full of details of the clients face and products. Because, when we go to print on beautiful
photographic paper there is always a natural softening effect to a slight degree.
Plus, some clients ask for specific softening effects to the portrait. We would be happy to work
with you on any reproductions you wish so that you can request whatever specific retouching
effects you wish.
Q.
I've chosen my favorites. Now what??
A.
Decide the images that you need as digital files only, versus those
that you wish to have
reprinted as 4x6, 5x7, 8x10 or 11x14 enlargements.
Q.
Retouch or original files?
A. Your service offering includes unretouched digital image files. You need to decide which,
if any, images would be greatly improved with retouching services. The variety includes
* blemish/mole/scar removal *minimizing
of facial wrinkles
* removal of shine on the face *lightening dark circles under the eyes
* teeth brightened/whitened *wrinkles softened (to the degree you wish)
* whites of the eyes brightened *loose hair tamed down
* adjustment to add/subtract tan lines *neck lines softened
* removing tatoos in the photo *double chin minimized
* eyeglass glare removed *dark circles under the eyes lightened
Any computerized retouching is an additional charge with a $30.00 minimum charge ($100.00 an hour)
with a ten day turnaround time requirement .
Honestly, 100% of the pictures would be improved with retouching, regardless how perfect the subject.
Once your retouching decisions have been made you may purchase and order your images
reproduced as digital files only, or also as a physical reprint/ enlargement.
Q. How will I receive my digital portraits, via email or compact disk? What do I do with them
once they are received?
Most clients need the images asap so opt to have them sent via email. When received:
please make two copies / two folders of these portraits for your archives.
If your computer has two drives (e.g. Drive C and Drive D) download these portraits
once to each drive. And if you’re anal (aka EFFICIENT, PROFESSIONAL,
GOOD PLANNER, etc) make another copy onto a compact disk and put it in a
safe place away from your computer where you can access it again when you need to.
InBeaute Photography archives images for six months unless you choose to pay
an add’l storage fee of $100.00 per year. What are the charges for digital images?
A.
Standard reproduction service is $45.00 per image for each high resolution image
duplicated with
unlimited duplication rights.

Q.
What form of payment do you accept?
A.
Payment is due when the order is placed. We gladly
accept MC, VISA, check and cash.
And
remember since we do offer Gift Cards, you may redeem your InBeaute
Gift Cards
as
they can be applied toward your charges.
Q. Can you display the images onto a web site where others can view and order online?
Yes we can display the images for thirty days on to a password protected website to be viewed online.
Or, as an additional service to you, we can simply create and mail to you a digital contact sheet of all the images.
In either case, these images are copyright protected from duplication or unauthorized use. In the event that
an infringement is discovered, you will be notified and invoiced the industry standard of TRIPLE FEE
for unauthorized usage and/or prosecuted for Copyright Infringement in U.S. Federal Court where you
will be subject to a fine of $100,000 statutory damages as well as our court costs
and attorneys' fees. Fortunately, this has never happened yet because our clients are HONEST
and RESPECTFUL of our hard work and believe that we deserve to be paid for our skills and talents.
I'm sure you agree!
